About the project
Slanglish includes popular words and phrases that you might hear in UK and USA and will help you with your own spoken English.Slang words are an essential part of conversing in English.This is everyday language from real life.

AIMS
Our aim is to practise our students' listening,speaking.reading and writing skills in both English and Turkish.While doing this,we will make them learn and use web2.0 tools.We expect to increase
- students' levels at English lessons,
- students' motivation for learning English,
- gaining cultural awareness
- increasing 21st century skills
- the usage of web 2.0 .tools,
- encouraging group working,
- working in team,
- increasing the collaboration between the partner schools


WORK PROCESS
OCTOBER:Choosing project partners and students/Introduction of cities,schools,teachers and students
NOVEMBER:Zoom meetings/Choosing the slang words and phrases that we will study
DECEMBER:Logo and poster studies
JANUARY:Creating flashcards
FEBRUARY:Creating puzzles
MARCH:Creating animations
APRIL:Creating comics
MAY:Creating an ebook or a pictionary
JUNE:Creating games and closure

EXPECTED RESULTS
Students will be able to understand native speakers of English because slang words and phrases are common in daily spoken English.Our students will create a dictionary,ebook,pictrodialogues,animations,flashcards...etc so they will use twinspace actively.
At the end of the project ,
- English level of the students will improve
- Students will learn to work in teams
- Peer learning and project based learning will ocur
- Students' motivation for English will increase
- Students will learn and use some web 2.0 tools
